LSB Round 8: PFC lose to Escazu in the game between Top 4 teams

The game between Top Four teams took place in San Jose. Top-ranked host Escazu (7-0) defeated second-ranked PFC (6-2) 87-76. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of PFC. Undefeated Escazu have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-0 record. Newly promoted PFC keeps the second place with two games lost. Escazu are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Abogados (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PFC will play against Grecia (#5) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Grecia was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Roswell (2-6) played at the court of seventh ranked Grecia (3-5). Grecia did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 79-62. Grecia moved-up to fifth place. Roswell lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Grecia will play against league's second-placed PFC in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Roswell will play against Metropoli (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Third ranked Limon Sh. (5-1) crushed at home 5th ranked Metropoli (2-5) by 26 points 104-78, which is the biggest margin this round on Tuesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Metropoli. Limon Sh. maintains third position with 5-1 record having just three points less than leader Escazu. Newly promoted Metropoli dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. Limon Sh. will meet ARBA (#4) in the next round. Metropoli will play against Roswell and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Limon Sh. - Metropoli 104-78
